The  2024 COPA America returns to the fold with another set of matches as Brazil takes on Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay in a crucial quarterfinal game at the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada on Saturday. Both teams have impressive players in their ranks and will be determined to win this game.

Uruguay triumphed 4-2 against Brazil in a penalty shootouts to advance to the Copa America semifinals in the United States, following a goalless draw on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Uruguay, under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, will face Colombia on July 10th, who secured a 5-0 victory over Panama, in the semifinal match at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Éder Militão and Douglas Luiz missed their penalties for Brazil, while Fede Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur, Giorgian de Arrascaeta, and Manuel Ugarte scored for La Celeste, with José María Giménez being the only one to miss.

La Celeste finished the 90 minutes with ten players due to Nahitan Nández's red card in the 74th minute, after VAR called Argentine referee Darío Herrera to review a foul by the Uruguayan on Brazil's Rodrygo, initially given a yellow card.
