Euro 2024: England Are Through To Semi-final On Switzerland Loss

Winning on penalty shootouts against Switzerland was the second time for England against the side from 4-in-7 penalty shootouts. They now will progress to the semi-finals to meet the winners between the Netherlands and Turkiye.
Overview
Three Lions for much of the game played impressively well than they had been. They rightly exploited every sides to find the needed equalizer, and since the Swiss defence was up to the task, the long range effort from Saka paid off for side.
Defensively, the Swiss did a great job otherwise, England potentially would have got more goals. Meanwhile, the Swiss were set to making most out of of their efforts on the counter, which they did get for the opening goal.
