Copa America: Preview to Argentina Facing Colombia In Final

Argentina set to take on Colombia in the Copa America final, as the Fifa World Cup champions hopes to defend the trophy at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.

The stats are looking favorable for both sides, even as the Colombia side seemed as the underdogs, they have remained unbeaten through 28 games and this is the farthest they have come in any major tournament.

Argentina are not looking bad at all coming into the final. Besides being the defending champions, they have lost just twice in their last 62 matches across all competitions and come into this final having won all of their last 10 matches. Speaking of the players, they seemed to have the better ones with the likes of Lionel Messi and Di Maria.

Lionel Scaloni’s men kicked off their tournament with a comfortable 2-0 win against Canada along side Chile and Peru to top their group with nine points and no goals conceded, earning them a game against Ecuador in the quarter-finals.

While Colombia had an emphatic victory in the quarterfinal, Argentina narrowly got past Ecuador, whowere the better team for a majority of that match but Argentina took the lead thanks to the competition’s current top

Lautaro Martinez, in the 35th minute. Kevin Rodriguez dramatically scored a 90th-minute equaliser to send the game to penalties, and despite Lionel Messi unbelievably missing the first penalty, Argentina progressed through 4-2 winners from the shootout.

Well both team got good skills and excellent abilities to prove themselves at florida but 90minutes determines who's the champion to lift the COPA 2024 CUP.
