Premier League: Arsenal Are Keeping Title Race In View, Leandro Trossard's Goal Lead Side To Beat Man. United

Arsenal claimed a crucial 1-0 win against Manchester United and remained at the front of the EPL standings but marginally ahead of Manchester City as the title race remains for both sides to clinch.

Leandro Trossard put the Gunners in the lead after a quarter into the game, darting into the six-yard for a tap in of Kai Havertz's cross amidst two defenders, cutting out Wan-bissaka to finish the ball. The attack was set up with Andre Onana's clearance landing on Ben White and lobbed over to Havertz, who was unmarked and set off the stunner.

United did have their chances with Rasmus Holjund shotting wide a scoring chance seized by McTominay from stealing the ball off Tomas Partey. Arsenal were able to keep the scoreline safe to win the game.

From the victory, Arsenal are still ahead of their rivals, Manchester City by just a point (86 pts) and have remained unbeaten in three consecutive EPL games against Manchester United.

Overview

An interesting game and such that Arsenal desperately needed to stay in the title race and such that United need to keep their home unbeaten run going. The Gunners were able to pull off the opener from the build up that Havertz was able to set up for Trossard.

There were a couple of thrilling moments and scoring chances but the lone goal was just enough for Arsenal. United made a couple of efforts to equalise, and Amad Diallo tried to pull off a penalty, which the referee nor the VAR deemed enough to be awarded. It was a fair victory for Arsenal.
