Juventus Sack Manager, Massimiliano Allegri

Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri has been sacked over what the club described an unacceptable behaviour during the Coppa Italia final.

Allegri won the Coppa Italia with the club by 1-0 against Atalanta during the final on Wednesday, but for the behaviour that ensued from Allegri, the club described such as not "compatible" with their values. The ousted manager ranted at the officials and even towards the sporting director after he was sent off the final in Rome.

As the second spell of the 56-year-old ended abruptly, the club said in a statement that: "The company wishes Massimiliano Allegri good luck in his future project."

Amidst the dismissal of Allegri, there are speculations that the club already intended to relinguish him of his role at the club since January. In the meantime, Paolo Montero is speculated to continue as the interim manager.

Juventus first appointed Allegri in 2014, and during the spell until 2019, he led the club to win five consecutive Italia Serie A. He returned to the club in 2012/2022 season after two-year hiatus from amangement and led the side to the final of the Coppa Italia twice on his second spell.
