Premier League: Liverpool Rally To Share Spoils With Manchester United

Liverpool came from behind to share points with Manchester United in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, which was a setback to the Reds campaign to lead the Premier League title race.
United rallied from behind to lead after Luiz Diaz had smacked home Darwin Nunez's header pass before Bruno Fernandez restored the side back into the game, blasting home a loose ball from a defensive error. Kobbie Mainoo put the Red Devils ahead curling home Wan-Bissaka's pass from the edge of the box into the top corner of the goal.
Mohamed Salah later restored the Reds back into the game following a penalty drawn by Harvey Elliot and smacked the ball down bottom right of the goal.
United were returning to their turf after losing 4-3 to Chelsea with a late comeback that witnessed two stoppage time goals from Cole Palmer who scored a hat-trick to lead the Blues to win the game. Liverpool are now in second place behind table leaders, Arsenal with 71 points apiece.
Overview
Liverpool looked poised to have the day until after the break when United had them stunned with a comeback to take the lead but later carelessly handed out a lifeline to the Reds to to level up and draw the game.
By the look of it, Liverpool should have led by wider margin from the first half but let up a lot of chances. Even though United retook the lead after halftime break, they yet had the most chances for much of the second half.
Mainoo, 18, has proven to be a formidable player in the United squad, he managed to pull the strike that sets the side up to be back in the game and that was an important moment that saw the side through to share spoils with Liverpool.
Wan-Bissaka had from the first half being little rough on his tackle until his tackle on Harvey Elliot proved costly for United and canceled out what should have been the side's day. It could also be said to be compensating to Jarell Quansah's error that gave away Fernandez's goal.
Andre Onana showed his brilliance at the goal forcing impressive saves. He saved efforts from Alexis MacAllister and Darwin Nunez from the first period and multiple others thereafter.
