Premier League: Liverpool Pass Up Title Race In Draw With West Ham

Having to draw 2-2 was a setback for Liverpool, after disappointingly sharing points with West Ham, which is a setback to their title race amidst speculations of Jurgen Klopp stepping down at the end of the season.
Liverpool had the better of the game and narrowly missed going ahead with Luis Diaz's effort bouncing off the bottom of the goal frame. West Ham got fired up near the closing minutes and Jarrod Bowen's header beat Allison to the goal and they took the lead.
It didn't take long into the second half before Liverpool leveled with Andrew Robertson blasting home Diaz's to beat Areola to left bottom of the goal. The goalkeeper later deflected home Gakpo's shot that deflected off Ogbonna, putting the Reds ahead. Both sides later settled for a draw as Bowen's cross found Michail for a header that beat Allison for West Ham's second goal.
Having to remained winless back-to-back in Premier League games dealt a setback to Liverpool's contest for the title - they have only won one of the four previous games in the Premier League. With the loss, it leaves Arsenal and Manchester City in the race for the silverware.
