Arsenal are back to the EPL standings summit after  winning 3-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion, the Mikel Arteta-led side reclaimed the top spot by a point clear nearest team, Liverpool.

With the game well in the Gunners' control, Bukayo Saka put the side ahead scoring from the penalty drawn by Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz side-footed home Jorginho's cut-back from the byline.

Leandro Trossard completed the clean sheet scoring from fast break set up by Havertz and blasted home the ball for the winning goal. The victory wrapped up a back-to-back victory for Arsenal against Brighton this season.

Arsenal have remained unbeaten through eleven Premier League games, the last time they lost was in 2-1 defeat against Fulham in December. The title race is yet tight between the top-three teams as Arsenal have six games remaining while Liverpool have a game more than that of their rivals.

Overview

Brighton were in no way capable of holding off Arsenal from winning the match, which was considerably dominated by their London-based counterparts. The loss was somewhat of the side's making in a game they barely could get a hold of.

Arsenal's goals were carefully orchestrated, even the penalty drawn by Gabriel Jesus was deserved as Lamptey's tackle was avoidable wrongly timing his move on his opponent. Though Trossard's goal came off a defensive flop for Havertz to pick up the loose ball and set off an attack but Belgian rightly touched the ball to beat Verbruggen.
