Tough Fate As Liverpool, West Ham Draw Tough Teams In Europa League Quarter-final
Liverpool and West Ham are the two Premier League teams remaining in the Europa League, which has entered into its quarter-finals, and with the recent draw released for the stage, the big goal margins are potentially not going to be common.
The Serie A alone has three teams, Atalanta, AC Milan and AS Roma left to contest for the trophy whilst Leverkusen are the one left from the Bundesliga and Marseille for the Ligue 1. These are teams that have frequently participated at these levels of the competition - the Spaniards are another with such experience but are missing out at these levels this season.
All the Italian teams in the quarter-final occupy the top-seven of the Serie A table, and Roma, who were finalists of the competition last season will have their fellow league side to face in the quarter-final as released in the draw. Liverpool as well have also been drawn against one of the teams from the league but West Ham have not and yet they have a tough Bundesliga side to meet.
