Premier League: Chelsea Seized Comeback To Share Points With Brentford

Chelsea shared points with Brentford after a difficult game that ended 2-2 with Axel Disasi's equaliser for the side's comeback in the latter stages of the game.

After an unpleasant miss in front of the goal, Nicolas Jackson put Chelsea ahead with a glance header from Malo Gusto's cross from the right flank.

Brentford leveled up sooner after the break with Roerslev tapping home a loose ball from close-range from Reguilon's weak shot attempt inside the box.

The Bees moved ahead from a delightful overhead kick from Yoane Wissa that beat Dorde Petrovic to the goal before Axel Disasi leveled the scores with a header from Cole Palmer's cross.

Having to draw handed Brentford the needed points to stay comfortably out of the red zone with 26 points as Chelsea have remained winless in two straight Premier League games.

Quick Overview

Two goals apiece for both sides with points shared. An impressive start from Chelsea and a remarkable comeback from Brentford. Plausible contributions from Jackson, for helping out playing a little deeper from the start. The build up to the opener was compensating to his previous mistake of missing the goal after neatly rounding Flekken after latching onto Enzo Fernandez's through ball.

Defense-wise, Chelsea fared well but with some defensive flops also ensued like Disasi being beaten to the ball by Wissa. Those flops eventually were enough to cause a scare after the interval handing out an equalizer to Brentford in a set of rowdy situation in the box.

The second half, from the start, did not seem bright for Chelsea. Earlier, an error had handed Janelt a loft chance that struck the goal frame before Wissa's overhead kick sunk home the needed goal for a comeback.

Though, Chelsea managed to rescue a point off the game from Disasi's header, yet it was a mixed of situations of fair and unsatisfactory for Chelsea for a game that should have gone their way.
