Manchester United Thrilling Victory Against Liverpool Takes Side To FA Cup Semi-final

Manchester United are through to the FA Cup semi-finals with a thrilling comeback to win 4-3 against Liverpool with a turnaround moment from Amad Diallo in extra-time stoppages.
The goals started coming in early with the opener in 10 minutes into the game from Scott McTominay's volley into an empty net after Kelleher saved Alejandro Gernacho's shot to his reach. Mac Allister leveled the scores finishing off Darwin Nunez's assist following a fast break.
Liverpool went in the lead with the second goal from Mohamed Salah, who finished off Andre Onana's parry into his path. Minutes before the stoppage time, Anthony curled home a loose ball from Gernacho's sliding shot and pulled United back into the game.
As the game progressed to extra-time, Marcus Rashford blasted home Scott McTominay's pass from the edge of the box to level the scores after Harvey Elliott had put the Reds ahead once again. In the added minutes of the extra-time, Gernacho latch on the ball for a counter and let the ball to Amad Diallo who curled the ball past Kelleher for the winner.

What an interesting game? United twice come from behind to secure an important victory against Liverpool at Old Trafford. For much of the game, the Reds controlled and dominated the game until Anthony's spoiler near stoppage time to force an extra-time during which Amadi wrapped it up with the late stunner on a counter.
Great contributions from Gernacho with two scoring assists. Before Rashford gettingbhis goal in, he should have settled the game on the stoppage time but hit the ball just wide in front of the goal. Elliot Harvey narrowed missed the goal with an effort that could have sunk the game for the Reds that struck the frame. Anyhow, Erik ten Hag's gamble with Anthony to replace Holjund did pay off.
Plausible game for United and amazing turnaround from the edge of defeat to book their place in the last four of the FA Cup.
