Francis Ngannou Humbly Lost To Anthony Joshua In Two-Round Knockout

Francis Ngannou did not stand a chance with former two-time unified heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua and was outrightly knocked out in two-round in their fight on Friday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Coming into the fight, back in October, Ngannou had fought with British fighter and WBC title holder, Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia during which he lasted through the rounds but the heavyweight champion lasted him on points. By the way, it was his debut fight with a boxer and also a heavyweight champion.

Ngannou, who is also a mixed martial artist, had twice being knocked down by Joshua before he was hit by a final and game-ending hook from the Briton. That hook sent him to his canvass, flat-out on the floor motionless. It was such a blast.

The fight, however, was intended to be a build up to Joshua challenging the winner between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Now that Joshua has won his fight, he is due to face either Fury or Usyk after their fight on 18, May in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
