Tom Holland Goes On Stage For 'Romeo and Juliet' Revival Amidst Spider-Man 4 Rumours
For those that are still fans of William Shakepeare's works - hardly there are that don't - Tom Holland will be taking up a role in one of his famous piece. This time, the British actor is not going to be your favourite neighbourhood lifeguard otherwise known as superhero - like he would in his famous franchise Spider-Man, rather will be loving up. Yes, as Romeo as you might have guessed.
As it surfaced online, Holland broke the news himself with a video following up to a portrait of himself updated to his social media captioned as, "Tom Holland, Romeo & Juliet". As also indicated the update, the production will be directed by Jamie Lloyd.
Even though as Spider-Man: No Way Home was really a success for Holland and the web-slinger is unsure about speculations on Spider-Man 4 that he is rumoured to reprise. The Briton opened up in an interview that surfaced online that he is uncertain about the future of Peter Parker which potentially he believed might "swing off into the sunset".
Despite being known for his superhero role in Marvel Studios films, Holland also does stage and made his debut with Billy Elliot: The Musical. However, his stage performance for Romeo and Juliet revival is expected to last for 12 weeks starting from May.
