Quick Overview
City responded adequately to the challenge from Brentford and Foden rose to the occasion to lead the comeback for the side. However, that was not to mention that Brentford were somewhat resilient for much of the first half and did well to keep City out of their box until a poor defensive header gave away the equaliser to Foden.
Haaland forced a couple of saves from Fekken and could not find pockets of chances to get a goal. At least, a bit of credit to the hosts for that early lead and efforts made to come back into the game but City gradually stemmed down the tide and dominated the rest of game after the interval. could not find pockets of chances to get a goal
