Quick Overview

What a desperate ending that called for a desperate stoppage times goals? It couldn't be more satisfying for Erik ten Hag and his men to have Mainoo's stoppages time goal to seal the victory for United.

United had good understand between Rashford and Holjund at the front and the latter playing from the left flank gave the side penetration needed to get past Wolves defence for much of the first half. At the time, they could have sealed the game by fair margin before the interval. United played to their best until the interval.

Wolves were really up to the task and the comeback was definitely ambitious for the side that was two goals in arrears from the first goal. Neto had been a force for Wolves from the start and his goal came in delightfully handy. Impressive set pieces from Wolves.

It was a dominated start for United before the outlook of the game changed and became hectic in the second half and that went on into somewhat emotional tensed  up stoppages.
