Premier League: Arsenal Restore Title Hope With Massive Win Against Burnley

Arsenal have rekindled their Premier League title race with a big 5-0 win against Burnley with Bukayo Saka getting a brace as they narrowed the gap to the table top to just a point.

Burnley conceded the opening goal from Martin Odegaard's individual effort with a long-range shot from the edge of the box that beat James Trafford to the goal, and later on, Saka doubled the lead from a penalty.

Shortly after the interval, Saka added in the third, rifling a left-foot home from inside of the box and Leandro Trossard smacked home a loose to make it fourth before Kai Havertz latched onto a throw-in and finished off the ball from the inside of the box for the fifth goal.

From their previous game, Arsenal have now won back-to-back by 5+ goal margin, making it their first ever on records. More so, the victory moved Arsenal near the table leaders, Liverpool by just a point.

Quick Overview

Arsenal simply dominated the game from start to finish and Burnley could only hang on as Arsenal wrenched their defense and got multiple goals.

The goals were delightful, and it was not only that Burnley's players were flops at the back, but were just overwhelmed by how Arsenal were offensive to get goals. It was just a sensational game from start to finish for Mikel Arteta's men.
