Champions League: Man City Edge Closer To Quarterfinal With Copahengan Defeat
Manchester City moved near advancing to Last 8 of the Champions League after winning the Round of 16 first leg in a comeback by 3-1 away defeat of Copahengan.
Phil Foden set off the chance for the opening goal with reverse pass that found Kevin de Bruyne, who finished the ball past Grabara. Copahengan later equalise after a loose ball resulting from Ederson's error was smacked home from the edge of the box by Magnus Mattson.
After returning from the interval, City eventually retook the lead with Bernando Silva delightfully struck Kevin's through pass into the net past onrushing Grabara. Foden added in the third in the stoppages, guiding home a shot from Kevin's pass.
With the game won, City are half way through the Round of 16 against their opponents that have remained winless in all their four previous Champions League games.

Copahengan initially seemed as though they were going to hold City to potentially a draw if not a victory as home until the Premier League side gradually peeled through the defense and found the needed goals to win.
City for sometimes were troubled at the back by the Danish side, who played interestingly well and their equaliser stemmed from the repeated pressure on City's defense. Even though they effectively kept Erling Haaland on the watch, Kevin delivered the cutting edge assists that produced the goals for the side.
