BAFTA 2024: Oppenheimer, Poor Things Top Winners


Big wins for Christopher Nolan-directed film, Oppenheimer at the annual ceremony of the BAFTA Awards on Sunday night at the Royal festival Hall in London, United Kingdom.

The star-studded ceremony was graced by the highs-and-lows of the film inductry and as the winners were announced, Oppenheimer topped with seven awards followed by Yorgis Lanthimos-directed film, Poor Things with five awards. 

Oppenheimer has been a success since its release in July, closing at the box office with nearly a billion dollar gross, making the film the third highest-grossing film of the year trailing The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Barbie
