FA Cup: Luis Diaz's Stoppage Time Goal Sees Liverpool Through To Fourth Round
Liverpool sealed an important 1-0 victory against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Arsenal set off the course of their own defeat with an own goal from Jakub Kiwior following Alexander-Arnold's cross from a free-kick. The Reds later on sealed the victory with a stoppage time goal from Luis Diaz from Diogo Jota's through ball following a fast break.
Prior to the winning goal, Liverpool had wasted a glaring chance as Alexander-Arnold could not connect to Darwin Nunez's pass for a one-on-one with Aaron Ramsdale.
The loss left Arsenal with their third defeat in all competition and the second time since 2021/22 season that they will be knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round.
