Tottenham's Hugo Lloris Joins Major League Soccer Side

 

Tottenham goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris has left the club to join its counterparts in the Major League Soccer side, Los Angeles as a free agent. 

Lloris, during his 11 season at the club did not win the Premier League silverware but contributed to lead the side to finishing as second runners-up under Maurice Pocchettino in 2016/17. The side also reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first-time in 2019. 

"Spurs will always be a special place for me and all my family," said the 37-year-old. "It's the end of the chapter but you will be always in my heart." 

The goalie reportedly was signed to a contract that runs until the end of 2024 season, which also includes two-year extension option.
