Christopher Nkunku who came in as a sub for Lesley Ugochukwu on his second appearance for Chelsea, scored the side's only goal nodding home Raheem Sterling's cross in injury time.
Having won the match, the hosts have remained unbeaten by Chelsea in four consecutive games at Molineux Stadium as Chelsea's losses widened to be the most so far this season for any side in the Premier League.
