Premier League: Stunning Late Goals Seal Victory For Everton Against Newcastle

 

Everton have bounced back from the relegation zone with stunning late goals that sealed the 3-0 defeat of Newcastle United for an improtant three points at Goodison Park. 

Ater both sides had had multiple chances to score, Everton eventually took the lead midway of the second half when Dwight McNeil stole the ball of Newcastle's defender and latched on before hitting the ball home from inside the box to beat Martin Dubravka. 

McNeil's cross later found Abdoulaye Doucoure inside the box and he finished the chance down right of the goal to set the side off for the victory, which was completed with the third goal from Beto in a fast break set off by Nathan Patterson's through pass. 

Everton have now moved up to 17th as they hope to have the penalty served them for breaching financial rule is overturned.

Quick Overview

Having to win the game comes as a vital victory for Everton to come out of red zone folloing the 10 Premier League poinst deduction penalty served them. They steadily rose to the occasion after Newcastle held them off from finding the net the first half. 

With good cordination, they eventually found errors to capitalise on for the opening goal and the winner was more from a loose defense in Newcastle. By the way, at the time, Magpies could not make their way back into the game anyway with three minutes of added minutes remaining.
