Justin Njinmah's Stunner Gets Werder To Draw Against RB Leipzig
Werder Bremen came from behind to get a 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig and that came off the delightful strike from Justin Njinmah in the heat of a comeback.
Coming into the second half witnessed an opener from Lois Openda following a lob pass before the scoreline was leveled by Justin Njinmah's curly volley from the edge of the box from Jens Stage's assist.
Leipzig had effectively move across the pitch for much of both periods and having to take the lead was compensating to their offensive approach.
The game took a new turn as the hosts fought to stay in the game. Leading up the equalizer, Leipzig had been struggling to keep the hosts in their half before an exchange of passes was offload from Stage onto Njinmah to unleash the curly shot.
Even though the game ended in a draw, Leipzig had multiple chances to give the victory but Zetterer was in place to force the saves to keep the side in the game.
