Rodrygo Signs New Extended Contract With Real Madrid
Brazilian player, Rodrygo has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2028 and the new contract is understood to have included an expensive buyout clause.
Having signed a new extended contract, Rodrgo, 22, will remained at the Real just as long as his countryman, Vinicius Juniour who also has extended his contract with the club until 2027.
As per the release clause, the amount is reportedly in the region of £1 billion, which makes the clause potentially the costliest recorded in football history.
So far this season, he has only contributed two goals to Real Madrid with his recent coming in 2-1 win against Braga in the Champions League. Meanwhile, his team-mate and England forward, Jude Bellingham has contributed more than any players in the team leading with 11 goals.
