Champions League: Arsenal Are Through To Knockouts After Lens' Defeat
Arsenal are finally through to the knockouts of the Champions League for having defeated Lens massively by 6-0 and finished atop Group B with 12 points.
The six-goal thriller was spread across the team with Kai Havertz delivering the opener before Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead shortly afterwards. It turned desperate for the visitors as Bukayo Saka deflected home Havertz's rebound shot saved into his path for the third goal.
Gabriel Martinelli added in the fourth after Takehiro Tomiyasu picked him up with a long range lob, whicn he latched on to and finished from inside the box. Martin Odegaard made it the fifth on the brink of halftime from a counter with a combination of assists from Saka and Tomiyasu.
Jorjinho completed the scoresheet with the sixth from a penalty drawn from Khusmanov's handball with four minutes left to play. The victory is the biggest for an English side against a French side in the Champions League.

Lens were desperately overwhelmed by their hosts as they were kicked out of the competition after the disastrous loss at Emirates Stadium. Interestingly, they defeated Arsenal in their previous game, and now, the Premier League side have undone the wrongs from the loss.
Arsenal had the best of all the advantages and made most of the scoring chances had. Compared to their previous match, they were not taking any chances with the game and sailed through to the knockout stage comfortably.
