Vin Diesel Rules Out Jean-Claude Van Damme From Appearing In Fast & Furious
Jean-Claude Van Damme is one big actor with many stunts capabilities being a martial artist, that has been around for a longvtime since his role in blockbuster films like Cyborg, Kickboxer and Hard Target. With all those qualities on his resumé, anyone would expect an easy sign off for a role in Fast and Furious and why is that not the case?
Fast & Furious is nearing its ending series with 10th episode being its last as Vin Diesel was previously quoted as saying. Nevertheless, he would not want to have one actor in the franchise and Van Damme happened to be the person he ruled out from the franchise.
Speaking in an interview with The Telegraph, the 63-year-old revealed that he would not appear in the franchise even though he is wanted by many to be in the film. As quoted by Movieweb he said: "They wanted me Fast and Furious. But, Vin Diesel said, 'No, I don't want him.'"
Fast & Furious has a success franchise and had featured many amazing actors amongst which was Jason Momoa and Dwayne Johnson, who said he would not be returning to the franchise and has discussed that with Vin Diesel.
Van Damme did not give an explanation as to why Vin Diesel ruled him out, and even at that, he is not doubt a good actor. Though, his career suffered a setback when he began doing drugs, he later returned to taking up major roles and one of his recent ones is The Expendables.
