Deadpool 3: Director Opena Up On Speculations About Starring Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is giving the box office the chill no other concert films has giving with The Eras Tour turning out to be a huge success despite minimal publicity. The concert film raked in $92.8M from the domestic market on debut: it is the most successful concert film.

As that is just taking off, rumours are going around that she will be starring in Deadpool 3. Who would not want that in this time that performances have been slow? However, Deadpool director, Shawn Levy has something to say, weather the rumours really holds water.

Amidst the swelling rumours, Levy was spotted at a NFL game which was attended by Swift alongside two actors, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Thus, he was approached on his take on the speculations surrounding the he is working on and Swift.

Levy acknowledged the rumours which he admitted "sure are loud" while speaking to The Wrap. However, he would rather let time tell.

He added: "I'm no dummy. You are going to have to wait and see."

Reynolds has been on the series since his first entry which was high successful with global gross of $782M, to have spotted him alongside Hugh will be starring in the oncoming series.

Until Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was released, Justin Bieber's Never Say Never was holding the feat for a concert film with $73 million in 2011. That might not be it for the singer's film, it also could set a new feat for October and that will upset previous record set for the month by Joker with $96 million in 2019.
