Premier League: Bukayo Saka's Double Sees Arsenal Through To Draw Tottenham in London Derby

Tottenham fought off Arsenal to earn a 2-2 draw in an electrifying high octave London-derby at Emirate Stadium that was smeared with dramatic moments of costly errors.

Son Heung-min was to the rescue of Tottenham with the two goals that kept Spurs afloat the hard-fought. Needless to say that, they were punished twice by Arsenal for defensive errors.

Arsenal moved ahead as Bukayo Saka made his way into the box and attempted a curly shot that deflected on Cristian Romero to beat Vicario to the goal.

As pressure began to subside from Arsenal, Spurs went on the attack and Son Heung-Min stunned the hosts as he squeezed home a cut-back from James Maddison and equalized for the side.

Saka restored the lead to his side converting a penalty drawn from Romero's handball and Son responded just immediately with another equalizer for Spurs as stroking home Maddison's pass following a defensive error from Jorginho.

Quick Over View of the Game

Arsenal had the good slice of the first half hour of the game using the right wing effectively to trim down Spurs' defense until that culminated in their first goal. Saka took the right decision to attempt a curly shot from inside of the box and Romero's deflection got the ball in, anyway. Arsenal were all over Spurs.

As their hosts appeared relax on keeping up the pressure, Spurs got fired up and took their first bite at the goal with Brenna Jognson's strike that saw a quick reaction from Raya. As pressure piled up on Arsenal, they did not see the equalizer coming until Maddison's through cut-back got just right enough for Son and poked the ball home even amidst challenge in the box.

Gabriel Jesus had his compusre not together when he stole the ball from Maddison for a golden chance to double the lead for Arsenal. The opportunity would have left the Brazilian one-on-one with the Vicario for the penultimate.

Both side had a fair share of the second half in terms of control, and for Arsenal, Eddie Nketiah was almost quiet and could not make impact as much as needed. That was not to mention that he almost got himself red carded for his challenge on Vicario but was issued a warning instead.

Saka made a huge contribution to see the game through and could have go himself a hattrick in injury time with an attempt at the goal that Vicario dived just well-enough to save.

Even though Son was later substituted for Richarlison, the South Korean impact was plausible for his skillful finish of that especially their first which could not be right enough.
