Premier League: Arsenal Claim Important Home Victory Against Manchester United
Arsenal left it dead late into the game to deal a humiliating blow to Manchester United's hold on the game and went away with an important 3-1 victory at Emirates Stadium.
United took the lead from their first attempt inside Arsenal's box as Christian Eriksen slid a pass to Marcus Rashford and he struck the ball to beat Aaron Ramsdale to the goal. Arsenal soon equalised two minutes later as Martin Odegaard finished off Gabriel Martinelli's cutback.
The game seemed to be heaing to a draw before Declan Rice struck home a well-aimed right-footed shot from inside the box to put Arsenal ahead in the injury time, and while the referee extended the injury time, Gabriel Jesus settled the game following a fastbreak and beat Onana to the goal.
United was denied their second goal from Alejandro Garnacho on the brink of stoppage time for offside position after the referee checked with the VAR. Bukayo saka wasted his finest chance which he side-footed to Onana's save.

Mikel Arteta could not ask for a better finish from Gabriel Jesus by the way he wrecked their opponents in the injury time. The goal was the Brizilian's first goal against United and he could not have been taken any better than he did for emotion get to him as he rounded a defender and slot the ball past Onana.
Arsenal without a doubt just felt a pitch of their money's worth from that late finish from Declan Rice that rescued the victory for putting he side in the lead in the added minutes of injury time. Meanwhile, the hosts had just narrowly escaped traling United when Garnacho's goal following a fastbreak was ruled out for offside position by the VAR.
Arsenal had most of the possessions from the first half and yet conceded the opening goal on United's first entry into their box, Kai Havertz's sloppy pass proved too cost and caused the opening goal from Rashford but hosts returned into the game just two minutes later from Odegaard.
Anthony was almost silenced in the second half but had his moment when Ramsdale saved his shot from inside the box only for Rashford to take a second attempt at the goal but his effort was blocked.
