Quick Over View of the Game
The first half went goalless but that was not to mention that Fabio Vieira's goal was ruled by the VAR and his finish was such a superb pin-point curly shot into the bottom right corner. Much of the first half was uneventful.
Eddie Nketiah had a lofty chance before the deciding goal but aim for a tap-in was blocked by Tarkowski. He was later changed for Gabriel Jesus. Apparently, what brought the difference to the game was Mikel Arteta substitution and that go the side fired up and soon there comes the goal.
Arteta also substituted Fabio Vieira and Zinchenko for Kai Havertz and Takehiro Tomiyasu. Meanwhile, Zinchenko made a couple shots attempts and tried to fire up the attack from the left wing but Fabio Vieira seemed spent that the time he was taken off.
Saka remained a powerhouse at the front for Arteta's men and Trossard made all his efforts pay off by wasting no time on his cut-back. The flick on the ball was right enough to catch Pickford unaware of the ball's direction.
Though Everton did a great job at the back but on the attack they were that very blunt enough to care necessary scare or to trigger panick in Arsenal's defense.
