F1: Alfa Romeo Decides On Valtteri Bottas And Zhou Guanyu's Future

Alfa Romero will retain their team duo, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu for yet another season as the racing team confirmed its satisfaction so far with the drivers.

Valtteri used to be a regularly face on podium but that was when he was racing with Mercedes before joining Alfa Romeo in 2022. Since then, his grid performance has dropped significantly and his best race this season was in Bahrain where he finished in eighth position.

However, never mind, the team believed things are yet stable and are also understood to be in the process of changing the brand name. To that effect, German Automaker, Audi is reportedly working towards the takeover of the team by 2026.

Speaking of the duo, a representative of the team, Alunni Bravi expressed their pleasure in continuing with the pair and also commended Zhou for the "impressive steps" he has attained over the last two years.

"Valtteri has taken a real leader's role within the team," Bravil pointed out while confirming in his statement the drivers will remain until 2024.

Zhou had his best performance so far this season in the Spanish Grand Prix where he finished inside the top 10 in ninth position and that was a follow up to his previous season's best in ninth position at Melbourne, Australia.
