EFL Cup: Man. United Win Big Against C. Palace To Progress to Fourth Round

 


It did take some efforts from Manchester United to progressed to the fourth round of the EFL Carabao Cup after beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at home. 

The first half was fairly in United's control and they took the lead from Alejandro Garnacho's stroking home of Mason Mounts cut-back before Casemiro headed home the second goal following a corner six minutes later.

United got comfortably ahead with the third goal in just 10 minutes into the second half, with a superb finish from Anthony Martial following Casemiro's cross. 

For the most parts of the game, United were in control and Harry Maguire was staunchly holding the defensive. Prior to the lead goal from Garnacho, he blocked a cross that could have sent Palace ahead. 

Sofyan Amrabat presence was felt at the back for most parts until he was substituted. Likewise, comtributions Hannibal Mejbri at the front.
