EFL Cup: Leicester Lost To Liverpool's Comeback To Progress To Fourth Round
Liverpool came from behind to claim needful 3-1 win against Leicester City at Anfield and progressed to the fourth round of the EFL Carabao Cup.
Leicester seemed as if they were going to be having the game after taking the lead at the early stages of the game and Liverpool did everything they could but score until the first half was through.
Reds got the Stunner as Leicester got ahead from Kasey McAlteer's strike in just three minutes. It later took the hosts until second half to find the equalizer as Cody Gakpo slammed home a cut-back from Ryan Gravenberch in just three minutes after.
As pressure continued to mount on Foxes, Dominik Szoboszlai scored the second goal from 20-yard and put Liverpool ahead. With a minutes left before injury time, Diogo Jota scored a sensational third goal with his back-heel following Quansah Jarell's through ball.
For the most part of the game, Leicester bearly had the chance to make a comeback against Liverpool who squarely deserved the victory.
