Wolves' Mattheus Nunez Closes On Move To Man. City
Mattheus Nunez is set for move to Manchester City after a verbal agreement for a deal worth £47million was reached with Wolverhampton.
Left to Wolves, they would have preferred to sell the midfielder for a higher fee which was reportedly set for £60m but the player insisted on leaving even when City's offer was rejected.
Since Kevin de Bruyne has been ruled out until next year over injury, the league champions are in need of a replacement. Nunez as well long for the move and he has not been training with his teammates as Wolves initially would not budge over fee demand.
The agreement is understood to have included add-ons of £5m and that discussions are still on going on the deal.
