West Ham Agree Deal With Southampton For James Ward-Prowse
James Ward-Prowse is set to leave EFL Championship side, Southampton after £30m deal was agreed with West Ham on his transfer.
Earlier reports swirling around Hammers on the midfielder's move , and also have it that they are considering a move as well for Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire. The offers for both players apparently were almost the same and United reportedly would not mind the fee for the centre-back they signed for £80m from Leicester in 2019.
The player has agreed on personal terms with Hammers and is expected to have his medical done ahead of the completion of the deal as garnered by Sky Sports.
Signing James might just be Hammers replacement for Declan Rice who left the club to join Arsenal. Upon completion of his transfer, James will be the club's second signing after Edson Alvarez in this transfer window.
