Tottenham Have Rejected Offer For Harry Kane From Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich might have to go back to the drawing board should they want Harry Kane still following Tottenham's rejection of their £86m bid for the player.

Tottenham turned down the offer on Monday, the day after their 5-1 friendly match win against Shakhtar Donetsk. Harry led the scoreboard with four goals and Dane Scarlett added the fifth in the injury time.

It was the second offer submitted for the player and they had set last weekend as the deadline for Tottenham to decide, but the club chairman, Daniel Levy did not respond even though the player had reportedly hinted the Bundealiga champions of his readiness for the transfer.

Though, the club has not given an official statement on the reason for decline, it was garnered that Bayern are yet hoping to press on and will discuss internally how to approach the situation according to a football journalist, Fabrizio Romano via a tweet

On the other hand, Kane is yet to respond to Tottenham pursuit of his contract renewal as he wanted out of the club, and now that he has just a season left in the contract. Meanwhile, the offer is set to give the English striker wage increase set at £400,000-a-week.
