Premier League: Arsenal Off To Perfect Start With Win Against Nott. Forest

Arsenal started off the new Premier League season on a perfect note with a 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.

Emirates Stadium witnessed an impressive opening game from the team as Eddie Nketiah lashed home a back flick from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka doubled the lead curling home the second goal from the edge of the box six minutes later.

Most the game was comfortably controlled by Arsenal until Forest caused a scare following a fast break inspired Anthony Elanga and let a pass inside the box for a Taiwo Awoniyi's strike from close range with eight minutes remaining.

The victory put Arsenal on their fourth opening game win in five previous seasons and they are back in the league title contest with defending champions, Manchester City who opened the season with 3-0 win against Burnley on Friday.
