Napoli Fighting To Keep Victor Osimhen From Saudi's Al-Hilal Claws

Napoli are doing everything they can to hold on to their striker, Victor Osimhen as Saudi side, Al-Hilal approached the club with an irresistible offer for the player's transfer.

Al-Hilal already have a striker like Odion Ighalo and a former Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly in the team, they have found Osimhen to be a good buy for helping his club to snap their 33-year long Italian Serie A title drought last season. The player was the side's top scorer with 26 goals in 33 league games.

An offer of £120m has already been made for the player and he stands to earn as much as £1 weekly should a deal be agreed. Even at that, Napoli wanted the fee to go even higher. That is not so they can make more but just so Al-Hilal can look elsewhere and they can have the player.

That might sound good with the expectations that the Saudi side might give up anyhow, Napoli yet have another issue on their hands over the striker. He is not only been targeted by the Saudi club, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and even Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the player's situations.

Should Al-Hilal give up, Chelsea might be tempted to make swift approach as they considering offsetting Romelu Lukaku to Juventus in a swap deal with Dusan Vlahovic. As it stands with Chelsea, a swap for Lukaku might go ahead as Lukaku wanted out and Vlahovic is a younger striker anyways.

United are understood to be working towards bolstering their attack and Osimhen might fit into that task. On the side with Bayern, Sadio Mane has left the club to join Al-Nassr where five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays.

Just as it may seems enough, Osimhen wanted out of Napoli and has not reportedly shown interest in extending his contract - he has two-year left in his contract.
