Harry Kane Completes Transfer To Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has finally left Tottenham Hotspur in an anticipated move to Bayern Munich with which he signed a four-year contract worth £100 million.

The player completed his medical on Friday after Spurs agreed to deal with Bayern whose two previous offers were rejected. The contract is one of the biggest ever for an English player equals record set by Manchester City's Jack Grealish transfer fee and trails Declan Rice's £105m transfer to Arsenal.

Initially, Spurs were reluctant to let the player leave and was pursuing a renewal of his contract which was left with a year to run amidst the player's interest to leave and Bayern's offers.

In a statement by the club's chairman Daniel Levy, the forward was described as "one of the best players to ever pull on" their shirt and who is amongst the finest "world football's elite strikers."

Just as Kane desired joining Bayern, they also are in need of him after the exit of Sadio Mane to join Saudi Arabia side, Al-Nassr, the season after the Senegalese player was signed as Robert Lewandowski's replacement.
