Bayern Munich Submit Big Offer For Harry Kane, Want Response From Tottenham By Weekend
Bayern Munich have submitted a massive £86m offer to Tottenham for Harry but requested for clarity on the club's preparedness on the transfer this weekend.
Kane is Spurs' top striker and they are reportedly keen on keeping him and have persuaded him to stay whilst he has just a year left in his contract. The player, however, is understood to have no interest to stay at White Hart Lane.
Thus, why the back and forth between the two parties? The player is understood to have informed the German side of his readiness for the transfer when they made an offer of £60m plus add-ons, however, the initial offer was rejected by the club and the German champions were back to review the amount involved.
The new offer on the table is no doubt a heavy one, and it is even at the club's record offer. Nevertheless, that depends on the club's chairman, Daniel Levy to approve of the move. Should that be, Kane stands to earn £400,000-a-week from the deal that would last for four years.
Signing the English player may be important for Bayern after former Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane left the club for Saudi Pro League to join Al-Nassr. Replacing him might have become necessary and the Germans reportedly wanted to know where to go from here on Kane from Spurs or they look elsewhere for a player.
