Bayern Munich Agree Deal With Tottenham For Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have agreed deal with Tottenham Hotspur on the transfer of Harry Kane for what is expected to be a club record transfer for Spurs.

Tottenham had declined two previous offers from the Bundesliga champions but this new offer is rumoured to be close to £100m which is considerably more than the previous offer of £86million.

Kane has been top upon Bayern's interest, and even him, wanted out of Spurs who remained willing to have him renew his contract which has just a season left to run. Since the player is not willing to stay at White Hart Lane, staying for another season would mean he can leave as a free agent.

Meanwhile, Kane might just be the player to replace Bayern's former striker, Robert Lewandowski who left in the summer of 2022 to join Barcelona. Though, former Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane was signed with anticipations of getting the needed boost at the front, the Senegalese, now has left to join Sadio Arabia side, Al-Nassr.

Having to move to Bayern holds a good prospects for the English striker in terms of wages which is expected to increase to £400,000-a-week according to reports. More so, in terms of trophies, the new stint might hold a couple of that for the 30-year-old forward.

Tottenham, however, have not given an official statement on the agreement but it is a leap towards what might mean a transfer for Kane.
