Paris Saint-Germain To Replace Christophe Galtier With Luis Enrique
Christophe Galtier might soon have to leave Paris Saint-Germain as reports say they are earnestly seeking to replace him. With the imminient change in club's managerial role, who is closest to filing the gaps?
Luis Enrique is understood to be the man next-in-line to replace Galtier. The club has already been in talks with the manager on relinquishing him of his job, and at the same time, the club is hoping to replace one of their key playmakers, Neymar Jr. who hoping to return to Barcelona.
Besides Galtier fighting to keep his job at PSG, he is also dealing with issues related to racism allegations during his stint at Nice. He was invited by a criminal court in Dec. 15 for an investigation into the accusations that also involved his son, John V. Galtier.
Amidst Galtier's saga, PSG are reportedly close in on reaching a deal agreement for Enrique to be their new manager. Meanwhile, the former Barcelona manager has been out of job since quitting his job as Spain national head coach after early elimination from the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
Enrique is a one-time Champions League winner with Barcelona which he won in his debut alongside the La Liga title and Copa del Rey. He later won one more La Liga and two Copa del Rey.
