Liverpool Captain Jordan Henderson Bids Farewell To Club
Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson has drawn the curtain on his 12-year reign at Anfield and his set to continue his football career potentially with the Saudi Arabia Pro League.
Jordan broke the news via a video update on Instagram, and while sitting in the dressing room, he informed his fans and team-mates that it will be his late at the club.
"I'm in the dressing room for the last time. So, as you can imagine, it's very emotional," he announced his departure. "I can't lie there were hard times but when I look back at my career at Liverpool it will always be the good part I will remember."
It is understood that the midfielder is considering to move to the Saudi Pro League where he is set to sign for Al-Ettifag for £12m plus add-ons.
He goes on to say: "Being me the captain of the Liverpool football club is one of the greatest moments of my life. From the day Steve Gerrard passed the captain ban to me I behave as a captain should."
As the captain of Reds, he has a number of trophies to his name and that includes the Champions League, FA Cup, the Premier League titles amongst others
