'It Will Be Amazing Privilege', Director Wants To Helm Filming Of James Bond

Just as many actors would be delighted to star as the new James Bond, it appears to be the same with film directors. For the franchise being once of the biggest and longest-running in the industry, it will be a "privilege" to helm filming one of its series, a director in his opinion opened up.

Christopher Nolan was appearing in a podcast, The Happy Sad and Confused when he opened up on his anticipation to direct one of the British spy film series. Even now that the franchise is indecisive on who will be the new face of the the character since Daniel Craig left, Nolan cravings might just be just in time.

"The influence of those movies in my filmography is embarrassingly apparent. It would be an amazing privilege to do one," Nolan confessed.

It could not be better said than that. One of the film he directed recently, Oppenheimer is making a big entry in the British box office with a gross of over £10.8m and combined with Greta Gerwig's film, Barbie both films have gulped £30m ($37m) since they premiered at the theatres on 24 July, 2923.

He goes on to say, "At the same time, when you take on a character like that you're working with a particular set of constraints."

The last installment, No Time To Die was Craig's last and the actor has no interest to return - he just has had enough after five installments. That void obviously will be filled and there have been favourites like Henry Cavill, Tom Hanks and a number of others linked to the role.
