Liverpool Sign Alexis Mac Miller For Five-Year
Alexis Mac Miller has penned his signature to a five-year contract with Liverpool as he leaves Brighton in this summer transfer window.
Liverpool signed the Argentine for a whopping £35m with add-ons that can see the fee increase reportedly to £55m. Alexis' tranfer is expected to make up for Reds' exiting midfielders like Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner.
The 24-year-old described his transfer as a "dream come true" for his career and added: "I wanted to be in [from] the first day of pre-season, so it's good that everything is done."
Having finished the season in fifth, Liverpool will be participating in the Europa League next season and behind them was Brighton and will also be playing at the European game.
Alexis led his country to win their third Fifa World Cup trophy in Qatar last year, and in his spell with the Seagulls, he has contributed 20 goals in 112 appearances to the club since he joined the side in 2019.
