Karim Benzema Joins Saudi Side, Al-Ittihad On Three-year Deal
Karim Benzema has finalised deal with the Saudi side, Al-Ittihad and has agreed to a three-year contract with the club as a free agent.
News of the France international leaving Real Madrid broke last weekend after ending his contract with the club in his bid to join Al-Ittihad - the move was also confirmed by Real via their official website.
"I am here to win, like I did in Europe," said Benzema. "I have been fortunate to achieve everything I can in Spain and Europe. It now feels the time is right for a new challenge and project."
Karim really had a wonderful 14-year spell at Real where he won 25 trophies and scored club's second highest goal of 353 goals in 647 appearances.
