Brighton Agree Deal With Borussia Dortmund's Mahmoud Dahoud
Brighton have agreed to a deal with Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Mahmoud Dahoud whose contract with the German side runs out by the end of June.
Mahmoud is understood to have signed a four-year contract with Brighton as a free agent and Seagulls' technical director David Weir, in his statement is confident the player's "quality and ability" will be a boost to Roberto de Zerbi's team.
The 27-year-old is deemed to be a replacement of Alexis Mac Allister who left the side to join Liverpool soon after the league season closed.
Brighton will be participating in the UEFA Europa League games next season for having to have finished the season sixth position. Meanwhile, they have never played in a European competition in their history.
They have just for the first time finished amongst top flight clubs of the league, and being a club that was in third tier, their promotion through the tiers to the Premier League is as recent as 2017/18.
