Premier League: Taiwo Awoniyi Scores Brace As Forest Draw At Chelsea's

Nottingham Forest shrugged off loss to Chelsea at Stanford Bridge, credit to Taiwo Awoniyi for scoring twice to force 2-2 draw that was needed to keep his side off well away from relegation zone.

Getting to come through the game took the effort of Raheem Sterling, who scored a brace to keep resilient Forest at bay: a loss wouldn't look good on Blues, who had lost four of their previous five games.

Forest's aggressive start to the game paid off as they took the lead from Awoniyi's glance header to Renan Lodi's cross just in the 13th minute.

Making a comeback took until second half for Chelsea and Noni Madueke inspired that with a cut-back that landed on Sterling path and he struck the ball neatly home for an equalizer.

Sterling again with an individual effort on a fast break, first rounded off a defender and curled a superb shot home for Chelsea's lead. Four minutes later, Awoniyi dashed out of the crowd to nod home Orel Mangala's lob from inside the box for the equaliser.

What a disappointment that was for Chelsea who are redeeming their winning forms but there is nothing to worry about as they are well away from the relegation. For Forest, that was well-deserved.
