Napoli Crowned Serie A Champions After Three Decades
Napoli have been crowned the champions of the Serie-A after 1-1 draw against Udinese with five games remaining to bring the season to a close.
Having gone 16-point clear the nearest rivals, Napoli lifted the silverware for the third time in its history. The league title has for 33 years eluded the club which they last won with late Argentine icon Diego Maradonna in 1989/90.
Udinese took the lead from Sandi Lovric's strike earlier in the first half, and after halftime, Napoli got the equalizer as Osimhen smashed a loose ball home from inside the box.
The champions' forward, Osimhen has contributed 22 goals so far making him the side's top goalscorer and also the league most goals this season.
