Premier League: Tottenham Get Draw In A Comeback Againt Man. United
Tottenham got off to a great start with their interim manager, Ryan Mason as they come from behind to hold Manchester United down to 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane.
United made most of the first half with two goals before Spurs made an impressive comeback in the second half to force a draw. It was such a comeback that almost could have left United stunned in defeat.
Jadon Sancho put United ahead with a curly shot from inside the box earlier into the game and Marcus Rashford smashed home Bruno Fernandes' assist to double the lead later into the first half.
Pedro Porro smashed a volley past David de Gea as Tottenham pull one back after halftime and Harry Kane's cross set of the equaliser as Heung min Son finished off the ball for the side's second goal.
Just before the equalizer Son had missed a lofty chance from inside the box and Eric Dier's header from close range almost gave the needed second goal.
Spurs' former manager Christian Stellini was sacked on Monday following 6-1 loss to Newcastle United over the weekend which the club's chief executive, Daniel Levy described as "unacceptable".
